2023 Wallflower beechworth viognier/marsanne field blend

‘Wallflower’ - Beautiful shy and one that shuns the limelight. Often found sitting quietly alone along the wall whilst others take the main stage and dance the night away.

This Beechworth field blend is our very own Wallflower, for many vintages left in the shadows quiet and passed by. Now it’s time for this overlooked section of the vineyard to shine and present in full bloom. A true field blend, picked and fermented together, full of personality and now receiving the attention it deserves.

Fermented wild in stainless steel before maturation in a pair of seasoned 4 year old French Oak Puncheons along with 2 seasoned French Oak Hogs Heads. Gently filtered and hand bottled on site October, 2023.
